Neil Simon is at his most humane, compassionate best in this series of four vignettes following the separate stories of guests from New York, Philadelphia, London and Chicago who have checked into the swank Beverly Hills Hotel over the weekend of the Academy Awards gala. The comic and sometimes bittersweet romp through Rooms 203 and 204 is a zany ride into the realm of what makes couples tick.
